The BAF collective is committed to respecting privacy, in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.

Although most of the content on this site is available without requiring visitors' personal data, visitors may be asked to provide personal information. The BAF Collective uses this data exclusively to respond to information requests and/or to keep visitors informed about BAF camp news. This data will not be resold, transferred or rented to any third party.

You have the right to access, modify, rectify or delete your personal data. If you wish to exercise this right, you can do so by sending an email to activismcampbelgium@proton.me. The modification will be made within a maximum of 50 days of receipt of your request.

Applicable law and competent courts

This website is governed by Belgian law. Only the courts of the Brussels judicial district have jurisdiction in the event of a dispute.

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS for BAF CAMP:

Preamble

These General Terms and Conditions of Sale govern the sale of tickets, the formation of the related contract and the mutual rights and obligations of the participant and the organisers of the camp.

• The term “participant” refers to the person in whose name or on behalf of whom has a ticket booked and/or who is going to the BAF camp.
• The Ticket Seller is BAF Collective via the Framaform
• The organiser of the camp is the BAF collective.

These General Terms and Conditions form an integral part of the contract resulting from the order of one or more ticket(s) for the camp.

Article 1: Scope of application

By booking a ticket and/or entering the camp grounds, the participant explicitly acknowledges having read and accepted all of these General Terms and Conditions.

Article 2: Booking Procedures

Tickets are sold via the Framaform.

A ticket reservation is only effective once after the booking confirmation has been made on the website and via the confirmation email.

Tickets booked via the Framaform will be confirmed by email. Participants must present their booking number and the email received upon arrival at the camp.

In all cases, the service and administration fees are definitively acquired by the BAF camp upon receipt of payment of the sum due by the participant.

Recommended prices may change.

VAT and other taxes are the responsibility of the participant.

The right of withdrawal does not apply, since the service (ticket booking) is carried out immediately. If you have booked a ticket and cannot attend please let us know, via volontairesBAF@proton.me so that we can offer the place to someone else.

After payment, the ticket is unfortunately not refundable (due to our security procedures and the possibility of issuing a refund for registration).

In case of cancellation of the camp, no tickets will be refunded.

Article 3: Ownership and prohibition of resale

Tickets cannot be resold. Resold tickets do not grant entry to the camp. If the organisers discover that tickets are being offered for sale, they reserve the right to cancel these tickets and refuse entry to the camp to the holder, without any right to a refund of the ticket purchase price.

Anyone entering the camp grounds must be in possession of their booking email OR their alias and the registration number (unique identifier). Every ticket has a unique identifier and will only allow access to the first person presenting it at the entrance.

Article 4: Security

Entering the camp site implies acceptance of the charter as well as acceptance of all preventative and control measures taken by the organisers or the Care and Security teams. Failure to comply with these measures may result in refusal or withdrawal of entry to the camp, without refund of the ticket price.

The organisers reserve the right to refuse or withdraw access to the camp site to any participant whose behaviour could jeopardise their own safety or that of others or, more generally, the smooth and peaceful running of the camp.

Furthermore, for compelling and demonstrable security reasons or simply on the advice of the authorities, the organisers reserve the right to:

• suspend or terminate the camp;
• keep the participants on the camp grounds temporarily and until further notice;
• ask the participants to leave the camp grounds.

In this case, tickets are neither refunded nor exchanged. In case of discomfort or insecurity related to the BAF camp, ticket refunds can be considered. Please contact the organisers and the Care group for this via activismcampbelgium@proton.me.

Article 5: Prohibitions

Participants are not allowed to bring professional cameras, video cameras or recording equipment, any weapons or sharp objects, any glass objects, any objects deemed dangerous by the organisers or any animals onto the camp site (unfortunately including guide dogs for visually impaired people due too other animals on the site), all electrical appliances, all sound systems or music amplifiers, gas burners, stoves or other (potential) explosives, aerosol deodorants, any illicit/prohibited substance and gas canisters.

Failure to comply with these prohibitions may result in the refusal or withdrawal of the right of entry to the camp, without the right to a refund of the ticket purchase price.

Water bottles, snacks (fruits, biscuits, chocolates) and lunch boxes are allowed.

The following actions are expressly prohibited on the camp site and may result in the refusal or withdrawal of entry to the camp, without the right to a refund of the ticket purchase price:

• behaviour intended to disturb public order or incite violence;
• entry areas where the ticket does not give access;
• damage in any way to the infrastructure, equipment, decoration and any other element on the site; any damage or consequence of the degradation caused by a participant will be charged to him/her separately;
• blocking of access points, exits and emergency exits;
• selling of food, drinks or any other product without the express permission of the organisers;
• sale of drugs;
• throwing (or aiming with) objects in solid, liquid or gaseous form;
• smoking or vaping in prohibited areas;
• putting waste, especially cigarettes, in nature (= anywhere other than in the planned trash bins);
• using soap in the river;
• urinating in public;
• parking a vehicle without the express permission of the organisers; the vehicle may also be removed at the owner's expense;
• removing decorations or any other Festival material;
• lighting a fire;
• putting others in danger.

The organisers reserve the right to permanently exclude anyone who does not comply with the BAF camp charter. No compensation will be due to the excluded person.

Article 6: Responsibility

The organisation of the camp (including, but not limited to, the programming, times and locations of the various events, the price of tickets and the number of tickets put on sale) is the responsibility of the organisers.

The organisers are only liable for direct damage that a participant may suffer, and which are the direct and exclusive consequence of a breach attributable to the organisers. Only damage for which the organisers are insured and which is covered by the insurer will be considered for any compensation.

Entry to the camp site is at the participants' own risk. The organisers decline all responsibility for damage resulting from entry to the site and/or from attending the shows, for example damage to hearing, vision and other physical problems.

Programme changes do not entitle ticket holders to a refund, either partial or full. The organisers cannot be held responsible for the absence or lateness of any of the artists and speakers advertised in the camp's promotional materials.

The organisers reserve the right to cancel or postpone the camp in the event of circumstances beyonde their control or any other compelling and demonstrable reason for such cancellation or postponement. Thes circumstances beyond our control include, but are not limited to: terrorist threats, terrorist attacks, adverse weather conditions, strikes, fires, war, government action, epidemics, illness of the performers, failure and/or delays in technical infrastructure, failure and/or delays in transportation, etc. In such cases, the organisers are not liable. Tickets are neither refundable nor exchangeable.

Loss or theft of the ticket is the responsibility of the participant and does not entitle them to a replacement or refund.

Article 7: Personal Data

As part of the ticket booking process, the organiser receives personal data from Participants, such as their name or surname and contact details, languages, etc. To execute the purchase, the organiser must share the Participants' data with third parties integral to the process.

By accepting the General Terms and Conditions, Participants give their explicit consent to share their data with the following parties and for the following purposes:

• to process tickets and payments,
• to send the tickets,
• to inform participants who wish to receive updates via email,
• to manage access to the Festival as effectively as possible,
• to manage any disputes from Participants,
• to inform participants of practical information related to the Festival,
• to manage cashless payments at the Festival and cashless refunds.

If permitted or required by law, the Ticket Seller and the organiser may share this personal data with public authorities and institutions to protect and enforce their rights or the rights of third parties or to investigate and prevent fraud or other offences or attempted offences.

The organiser may receive negative advice from public authorities or institutions regarding the ticket holder's entry to the Festival. In this case, the organiser has the right to refuse or withdraw access to the ticket holder, without any entitlement to financial compensation whatsoever.

The participants data will be kept for an indefinite period, unless the right to be forgotten is exercised.

In accordance with the law of July 30, 2018 relating to the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data, the participant may have access to personal data concerning them, make changes to it or object to its processing.

The recording and storage of the images in question by the police and/or the organiser may occur within the framework of maintaining order and ensuring security on the festival site, as well as for the purpose of preventing, detecting and prosecuting offences and violations of the General Conditions through identification using digital images.

If a participant wishes to exercise their right to be forgotten (erasure of their personal data), the organiser is obligated to remove all such data and consequently can no longer offer their services or grant them access to the Camp. The order will be cancelled without refund.

Article 8: Applicable Law, Jurisdiction and General Provision

These General Terms and Conditions are governed by Belgian law.

When, by virtue of the application of a law, regulation or following a final decision of a competent court, one or more provisions of these General Terms and Conditions are held to be invalid or declared as such, this does not affect the other provisions of these General Terms and Conditions which remain in force. The parties undertake to replace the provision(s) with the valid or binding alternative provision(s) that most closely approximate the spirit of the provision(s) that has been declared illegal, void or not enforceable.

In the event of a dispute, only the courts of the Brussels district have jurisdiction.

These general terms and conditions are written without reservation and without any admission of prejudice on the part of the organiser.
